Mangrove swamps are instrumental in mitigating the effects of climate change. they absorb 10% more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than other terrestrial forests. I just love the interesting shapes they create.
Inspired by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Created with acrylic, inks, pastel and collage on archival watercolour papers and currently presented in a white mount 88.5 cm x 70.5cm
